'Alison Lapper Pregnant' by Marc Quinn will be made of marble and be 4.7m tall. Mr Quinn said he wanted a sculpture showing disability like Nelson, who only has one arm.
This was a hypothetical project. I challenged myself to come up with 158 plinth proposals, one for each year the plinth remained empty running up to and including all the public sculptures to date.
