This is a proposal whereby an offset lithography press would be housed on the plinth and constantly producing a newspaper written and edited in real time.
This was a hypothetical project. I challenged myself to come up with 158 plinth proposals, one for each year the plinth remained empty running up to and including all the public sculptures to date. In doing this I hoped to understand the thought processes behind the artists who were commissioned. The best way to enjoy this project is from the first post 1/158. So please scroll down and enjoy.
